Former Equifax executive jailed for profiting off data breach

Jun Ying, the former chief information officer of Equifax’s U.S. Information Solutions business, has been sentenced four months in prison, one year of supervised release, ordered to pay restitution of $117,117.61, and fined $55,000 for dumping stock after learning of breach.
